Anthony Frenette is an advocate for emotional resilience and mental health, drawing on his personal journey of overcoming childhood emotional neglect. Abandoned by both his parents at an early age, Anthony was raised by a stepfather who, though a good provider, struggled to express empathy. Growing up in an emotionally restricted household where vulnerability was discouraged, Anthony learned to suppress his feelings, a survival mechanism that led to challenges in adulthood, including difficulties with impulse control and empathy.

After years of navigating the emotional fallout of his upbringing, Anthony embarked on a transformative path of healing. His experience inspired him to write Healing the Inner Child to provide men with the tools he wished he had—practical steps to break free from emotional suppression and create meaningful, authentic connections. Anthony has been married for 10 years and brings his personal insights and dedication to helping others reclaim their emotional wholeness.
